Hey all!
Tonight's post will be much shorter than last night's to make up for how long my post was yesterday. lol I just want to talk a little about not comparing ourselves with others when it comes to serving God, and figuring out what it is that WE can do and are good at.

In our service to God, it's important for us to discover what we are good at, and how we can best serve Him and the church. Sometimes it is hard not to compare ourselves with others. It's easy to see others doing something and say, "Man, I wish I could do that." Now, I'm not saying that we shouldn't grow. If you see someone do something, and you want to be better at it, then feel free to learn how to do whatever it is if you're able to. I'm just saying, we shouldn't spend our time wishing we could be like someone else.
Phil. 4:11- "...I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." God made us each with a particular gift, so it's important to find out what yours is, and do that to the best of your ability.
Eph. 4:16- "from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does is share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love."
1 Cor. 12:4-6- "There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all."
If we all discover our talent, and work that to the best of our abilities, we will glorify God and serve our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. They will see us using our talents, and maybe they'll be encouraged to use their own talents. What are some other verses you can think of to add to this idea? Feel free to post your ideas!
Take care and God bless! :)
